Color: An exuberant wine, of deep, intense red color and clear-cut, decisive personality.
Bouquet: The nuances of Chianti Style Sangiovese blend with the gentleness of Merlot and the potency of Cabernet Sauvignon in a sinfony of notes that run from vanilla to coffee, dark chocolate to berriers to leather.
Taste: Very potent and full-bodied wine, warm and auster, with sustained and well-blended tannins, closing with excellent aromatic persistence
Alcohol level: 13.5
Matches: It goes very well with haute couisine meat dishes, baked leg of lamb, grilled kid, game, grilled T-bone, sticks and very important cheeses. It’s a wine that’s exciting even after a meal, for convivial conversation.

Additional info: The first vintage is the 1998 harvest.
Vinification:
Maceration at 28-30° C for over 10 days and then at 25° C for at least another 7 days. Full Malolactic fermentation.
Refinement:
In Allier barriques for 15-18 months, followed by refinement period in bottles.
Advices:
It can age over 10 years and should be drunk in a big, capacious cabernet glass at 16 to 18° C.
