Fattoria di Rignana in brief
In the 14th Century, Villa Rignana was owned by the powerful Cardinal de Ricci and thereafter converted into a monastery. Today it is a private residence of 800 square meters owned by Cosimo Gericke and Sveva Rocco di Torrepadula, who oversee their small but superb wine production with passion and competence. Rignana’s best known products include a Chianti Classico D.O.C.G, Vin Santo, extra virgin olive oil, honey and many types of flavored grappa distillates.
